Driving Change Across Generations: DSF Werks Receives $25,000 Grant from The Eisner Foundation
Posted by The Eisner Foundation
DSF Werks, based in Long Beach, CA, was awarded $25,000 in general operating support from The Eisner Foundation to advance its work with youth aging out of foster care. Through intergenerational mentoring and hands-on apprenticeships in automotive restoration and media arts, DSF Werks helps break cycles of homelessness, incarceration, and unemployment.
The organization connects young adults with older community members who serve as mentors and collaborators, building real world skills and meaningful relationships in the process. This grant will help DSF Werks deepen its impact by continuing to create spaces where transformation happens across generations.
